According to a New York Times/CBS NEWS poll released today, only 24% of voters care "a lot" or "some" about Barack Obama's relationship with Rev. Jeremiah Wright. That's good news for the Obama campaign, right? Sort of.
While less than a quarter of the polled voters may care about "the Wright issue" themselves, apparently 44% say it will matter to "most people" they knowwhoever those people are. Assuming the poll has accurately captured the sentiments of the voters, here's the takeaway: few voters think Rev. Wright matters. But more voters think most voters think Rev. Wright matters.
