It'll be Back to School Night at this month's Non-Motivational Speaker Series. Come here Sam Rubenstein, former SLAM magazine editor turned NYC public school teacher [interview here]; Hannah Friedman, author of prep school memoir Everything Sucks [interview here]; and Eliot Weiss, coach of perennial HS chess powerhouse (and subjects of bestseller Kings of New York) Edward R. Murrow High School [interview here] shake their heads at America's collective future. (UPDATE 9/20: Weiss will be joined by former Murrow chess team captain Ilya Kotlyanskiy).
