Media Circus May 14: The Lost Glossies

Media Circus returns to Brooklyn on May 14 with a night dedicated to The Lost Glossies: The Stories and Struggles of Recently Defunct Magazines. This week, Gelf's monthly speaking series in all things media will feature editors of publications that are sadly no longer with us. Aaron Gell (interview here), formerly of Radar and the founder of ASSME (The American Society of Shitcanned Media Elites) will be joined by Tai Beauchamp (interview here), a former editor at Vibe Vixen and Seventeen Magazine, and Rob Tannenbaum, formerly of Blender (audio interview with Rob's former co-editor, Jonah Weiner, here). The work of local artists will be on display as well.

The Event will be held Thursday, May 14, at 7:30 pm (doors open at 7:00 pm) at the JLA Studios art gallery on 63 Pearl St in the DUMBO neighborhood of Brooklyn—just one subway stop away from Manhattan! Admission is FREE. Drinks will be available. Please spread the word and bring your friends.
