Varsity Letters returns to The Gallery at Le Poisson Rouge on Thursday, September 11 for a night that looks at football from its earliest days to the modern era. Dave Revsine, lead studio host of the Big Ten Network, will be discussing his book The Opening Kickoff: The Tumultuous Birth of a Football Nation. He'll be joined by writers Alex Belth, Paul Solotaroff, and Peter Richmond as they discuss and read from the new collection from the Library of America, Football: Great Writing About the National Sport, edited by John Schulian.
