Nov. 21: Best American Sports Writing

Varsity Letters is back at The Gallery at Le Poisson Rouge on Tuesday, November 21, with a night that celebrates The Best American Sports Writing of 2017.

ESPN senior writer Howard Bryant, editor of this year's volume of the annual series, will be joined by several of the contributors, including:

•Bomani Jones, host of The Right Time podcast and author of "Kaepernick Is Asking for Justice, Not Peace"

Teri Thompson and Luke Cyphers, who co-wrote "Lost in America" for Bleacher Report

Doors open at 7.
Event starts at 7:30.
There is no admission charge.
Attendees must be 21 or older, as per Le Poisson Rouge rules. (Email varsityletters@gmail.com if you are under 21 and would like to attend. The farther in advance, the better; no guarantees.)
