The Non-Motivational Speaker Series returns on Tuesday, August 23, at 7:30 p.m. in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Food trucks will be the main course at this month's event—can NYC's growing ranks of mobile gourmands coexist peacefully with their stationary forebears? Joining Gelf in a panel discussion will be David Weber, head of the NYC Food Trucks Association and owner of the Rickshaw Dumpling Truck and Bar; Midtown Lunch street food correspondent and Urban Oyster food tour guide Brian Hoffman; and Irene LoRe, head of the 5th Avenue Business Improvement District in Park Slope and owner of Aunt Suzie's restaurant.
